In this final installment of the Winter 2023 series on funding for citizen science, we hear from two program managers of NASA funding opportunities that fund collaborations among scientists and others. The NASA Science Activation program, presented by Deputy Director Dr. Lin Chambers, funds collaboration between NASA scientists and science with learners of all ages. The NASA Applied Sciences Capacity Building program, presented by Sydney Neugebauer, the Coordination and Analysis Lead for the Capacity Building Program, supports communities that have a need - a research question or monitoring agenda - that can be filled at least in part by NASA data. Join us to hear more about how these programs have and may in the future support citizen science.
