We will gather again in our breakout groups to, in the spirit of Halloween, define the skeleton of a primer on NASA citizen science data. This skeleton will be “fleshed out” over the month of November into a primer, which will then be circulated for feedback.
We will begin our session with a short presentation and discussion with Kaylin Bugbee on NASA’s Open-Source Science Initiative (OSSI). OSSI is a comprehensive program of activities to enable and support moving NASA science towards openness, including policy adjustments, supporting open-source software, and enabling cyberinfrastructure. Kaylin is a Data Applications Manager at the Marshall Space Flight Center and is serving as a Detailee - SMD Catalog Lead in NASA’s Open-Source Science Initiative.
