NASA’s primary metric of citizen science project success is peer-reviewed science publications. NASA leadership encourages project scientists to work with citizen scientist co-authors - to benefit from the ideas and talents of extraordinary volunteers as well as to give more people first-hand experience in the full experience of scientific research. We will hear from pairs of scientists and citizen scientists who have met the challenge of refereed publication and have ideas on structures and practices to help ensure your success. The presentations are followed with an extended question and answer period.
